The entire book has approximately 1500 pages and is split into three volumes.
Volume I gives a detailed insight into the container as a transport system and deals with the principles of securing goods in the container itself.
Based on many hands-on examples and illustrated by a multitude of photos and sketches, Volume II provides practical advice on how to properly secure various types of goods in containers.
Volume III covers the technology involved in containerized transport under controlled temperature and atmosphere conditions. The second part of Volume III describes specific transport properties of a large number of products and how to package them appropriately for containerized transport. It also provides detailed explanations of the various risk factors.
