Figure 10: In order to avoid wetting damage on cargoes of cocoa, specially produced plastic tarpaulins are suspended under the container ceiling by the upper lashing rings. It is important to ensure that sufficient free space remains between the container side wall and the tarpaulin for warm air to be able to rise. This picture clearly shows the volume of water which has collected in the tarpaulin.
