Figure 12: Coffee cargo in a 20 foot container. The cargo is protected by paper dunnage on the floor, the side walls and on top of the cargo. The top, which is particularly at risk from dripping water, can be protected only temporarily. The paper absorbs water until saturated. If further sweat drips down, it is passed on to the cargo. The suspended nonwoven fabric constitutes a further protective measure against dripping sweat.
